Guthy Renker Holiday Party!

I had the privilege of attending the Guthy Renker Christmas Party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills!  It was sooo fabulous!  I took pictures of the amazing decor and some of the fashionable guests.  But first... below is a photo of Ms. C., me, Sammy Davis Jr., Dean Martin, Marylin Monroe and Frank Sinatra on the red carpet.  :))

My absolute favorite part of the decorations

 are these illuminated eucalyptus branches

The floral center pieces were illuminated with LED lights
 and trimmed with various sizes silver candle holders

Love the placement of the napkins!

An Easy Children's Holiday DIY

Infinity scarves are an easy DIY project for children to make and give as this holiday season.

To begin:
cut approximately 15, 1" strips - 12" long, from stretch (knit) fabric.

stitch the ends of the individual strips together to create a circle.  Beads and other baubles can be added to the strips before stitching if desired.

cut a 3" X 2" piece to cover the stitched ends.

*a tee shirt is an excellent choice for this project.  Lay flat, cut off the bottom, measure and cut 1" strips from the bottom of the shirt until you reach the sleeves.
