Textile Wall Hangings

Wall hangings have been around for centuries.   They were popular because they could easily be hung, taken down, rolled up and moved to a different location.  Textile wall hangings were draped on walls for insulation during winter and for decorative display.  Wall hangings could contain important information, announcements or a family's history.

DIY Artwork

Ms. E. and Mr. M. created another amazing DIY project!

With fabric purchased from IKEA for approximately $7.99 a yard, they covered "dated artwork" to give their living room a fresh and modern feel.  Below "are a few photos":
