Obamacare / Covered California Workshop at Trinity

I had the priviledge of volunteering to help with registration at the Obamacare/The New Healthcare Act Workshop at my church, Trinity Baptist Church.

Senator-Elect Holly Mitchell and Los Angeles Supervisor, Mark Ridley Thomas were among the elected officials at the event.

The event was hosted by Trinity's Social Action Committe.  The workshop presented an overview of the basics of the Affortable Care Act; an overview of current Covered California Health Care options; insurance implications, options and cost; eligibility and enrollement assistance.

A panel made up of Covered California Certified Educators answered questions and concerns from the audience.
