A few days ago, I attended the Wearable Art Preview and Cocktail Reception at the Craft & Folk Art Museum. There were a handful of textile designers and a couple of jewelry designers at the Trunk Show. The construction quality of the handmade one-of-a-kind garments and accessories were impeccable; and the jewelry was flawlessly made. I didn't see any single inspiring design idea, but I enjoyed the hand-loomed silk textiles and the luxurious fabrics. Wasn't able to take photos of the artisans work. But, I did visit the museum's gift shop. There were a lot of interesting things to see and buy. Below "are a few photos:"
