Easy DIY Window Treatments

A Family member needed a curtain for her bathroom window.   Even though the window is frosted, you could still see through it.

This is a fairly easy curtain to make.  It could be no-sew if you use press on hemming tape instead of a sewing machine.  Below are "a few photos" of the curtain and instructions on how to make it.

I made a little mini sample for you:

1.   Measure the inside of your window - length (top to bottom), Width
      (side to side)

2.   Using your measurements, add an additional 1/2" to all the edges
     for the hem

3.   For the top flap, measure and cut a little more than 1/3 of the length of the
      curtains

4.   Cut 4 ribbons 6" longer than the curtains, stitch 2 to the front of the curtain
and two to the back evnly between the center of the curtain and the side
      side edge of the curtain

5.   Sew the flap to the curtain - right side of flat to wrong side of your
      curtain

6.   That's it!  A tension rod was purchased and placed between the curtain
      and the flap.
